Our Group takes place
On: Friday 110th June 2022 - 2.30-4pm
At: St. George's Church, Eastbourne Road, Polegate, BN26 5DF.
This event takes place during Carers Week, not sure exactly what's planned but have a feeling it will include some cake and nibbles! We hope you can join us
A fabulous venue with loads of free, easy parking. We have use of the kitchen for tea and coffee. .
Fund Raising
On Saturday 4th September 2021 Carers from the Willingdon/Polegate area met together to share a cuppa and a slice of cake while taking part in a Clothes Swap to raise some much needed funds for Care for the Carers.
Carers Week 2022 - June 6th - 12th
"Make Caring visible, valued and supported"
The theme for this year extends the belief that unpaid carers and the challenges of caring should be recognised in all areas of life.
Caring should be valued and respected by everyone in our society, and Carers should have access to the information and support they need where and when they need it.
Please do come for a chat if you have any questions or feel I can offer any information to help with your caring role or even if you are supporting a Carer in any way.
Care for the Carers - Supporting Carers in East Sussex
I am pleased to offer a reduction of £5 per treatment to Carers on production of your Carers Card., from personal experience I understand how important it is, but also how difficult it can be to get time to yourself - situations change very quickly and because of this I don't charge a short-notice cancellation fee to Carers, providing you let me know an hour before your appointment time.
Having been helped a greatly by CftC over the years I'm now a proud Ambassador for this fabulous organisation and always
happy to chat about any help they could offer should you find yourself in this situation.
Please phone (01323) 489229 for a chat regarding treatments and to arrange your appointment.
Please mention your Carers Card when making your booking.
I was shocked to be nominated and totally amazed to reach the finals in the
Carer of The Year category!
